    Erasmus Yoğun Programı Duyurusu

    Erasmus Hayat Boyu Öğrenme Yoğun Programları, Avrupa genelinde öğretim iş birliklerini destekleyen bir programdır. Almanya’dan Philipps Üniversitesi ‘Media Sciences’ lisans programı öğrencileri, ‘Media and Cultural Praxis’  yüksek lisans programı öğrencileri,  Hollanda’dan Maastricht Üniversitesi öğrencileri ve  İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi öğrencilerini  buluşturacak ve üç yıl sürecek olan ‘Sanal Bağlamda Toplum Hizmeti’ konulu bir Erasmus Yoğun Programı için bu 3 üniversiteye ilk kez destek verilmiştir.

    Bu program çerçevesinde “Sanal Alanda Kültürel Kimlik” başlıklı ders, 22 Temmuz-6 Ağustos 2012 tarihlerinde İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi’nde gerçekleşecektir. Derse İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi’nden 10 öğrencinin yanı sıra Philipps Üniversitesi ve Maastricht Üniversitesi’nden de 10’ar öğrenci katılacaktır.

    Bu proje kapsamında dersleri Doç. Dr. Karin Wenz (Maastricht University), Prof. Dr. Angela Krewani (Marburg University),  Prof. Dr. Uğur Tekin, (İstanbul Aydın Üniversitesi) verecektir. Ders 6 AKTS değerindedir.

    Social Work in Virtual Contexts
    The Erasmus Intensive Programme Life Long Learning supports teaching cooperations on an European level. We are glad to inform the students of the BA programme  “Media Sciences” and the MA programme “Media and Cultural Praxis” in Marburg  and students in Maastricht that a cooperation between Aydin University, Istanbul, Maastricht University, Maastricht and Philipps University, Marburg has been granted support for the first year 2012:  A joint class with lecturers and students from the participating universities will be offered from July 22 to August 6, 2012 in Istanbul, Turkey.

    Topic 2013: Political Activism in Virtual Cultures (Maastricht)
    Topic 2014: Cultures of Migration (Marburg)
    Istanbul, Aydin University, July 22-August 6, 2012

    Goal of the project is the analysis of national cultural identities and their transformation in virtual networks. A group of students from three different universities (Maastricht, Istanbul, Marburg) will be discussing their individual national cultural identities and they will be exploring their cultural identities and transformations in the process of learning and discussing. The project’s intention is to convey innovative competences within the disciplines ‘social work’, ‘media ethnography’ and ‘media sciences’. Students will deepen their knowledge in

    * theories of media and globalization; 
    * theory and practice of media convergences; 
    * experience in the methods of virtual ethnographies; 
    * reflexion on their own cultural identities;

    The project is located in the historically multicultural area of Istanbul, called Beyoglu. This part of the city will be the main protagonist. Students will be working in internationally mixed groups and they will explore the coniditions, transformation and media of cultural identities through interviews, photographies and short films. The two weeks project will be working on a blog and a google map site to document individual cultural identities and their transformations within virtual culture.

    The teachers in this international project are based at the three participating universities:

    Participating students will be granted the travel costs and a reasonable support for their stay at Istanbul.

    The project will be granted with 6 ECTS points.
